Linus Catignani, Partner, LCM Strategies, LLP
Linus is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Father Ryan High School in Nashville and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After spending nearly a decade working in the retail banking industry both in retail management and in sales marketing for banks around the country, he made the unlikely jump from banking to politics in 1993.
Since starting his career in politics, Linus has worked as a political fundraising and/or online marketing consultant for a number of federal office holders including Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D., U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander and U.S. Senator John Thune, among others. During the 2002 election cycle, he served as Director of Finance and Administration of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, where he managed a historically successful $120 million fundraising operation.
In 2005, Linus and his business partner formed LCM Strategies, a direct marketing company handling political and non-profit clients.
Chris Maiorana, Partner, LCM Strategies, LLP
Chris is a native of Monroe, New York. He is a graduate of Monroe Woodbury High School and the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After completing a master's degree in history, Chris entered a career in politics.
Since starting his career, Chris has worked for the Republican National Committee, Victory '96 and the National Republican Senatorial Committee. In 2000, Chris was recruited to serve as Director of Marketing for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, managing a $50 million+ Internet and direct mail operation. Chris grew and managed this operation until March 2005.
In 2005, Chris and his business partner formed LCM Strategies, a direct marketing company handling political and non-profit clients.
Valerie Maiorana
Valerie is a native of Pearland, Texas. She is a graduate of Pearland High School and the University of Texas at Austin.
Valerie began her political career working in Houston for Blakemore and Associates, a political consulting and fundraising firm. She moved to Washington, DC in 1999 and worked as a fundraiser for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. In 2000, she accepted a job at the National Federation of Independent Business, ultimately managing the media communications for seven NFIB state offices, including her home state of Texas. In 2003, she joined DCI Group, a strategic communications, issue advocacy and government affairs firm in Washington DC where she coordinated for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and political organizations the response and messaging of 14 writers on complex issues, including those related to Social Security, global warming, prescription drugs and free trade initiatives. After returning home to Texas in 2006, she accepted a position with Ross Communications, a public affairs and strategic communications firm in Austin.
Valerie also began working with LCM Strategies in 2006 to provide copy writing support.
Ginny Desiderio
Ginny is a native of Clairton, Pennsylvania, a small community located about 12 miles south of Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Clairton High School, Robert Morris College and the University of Duquesne Law School.
After graduating from high school Ginny went to work for various employers as she pursued her college and law school education at night. She made the decision to attend college and law school on a full time basis beginning in 1973, while continuing to work full time.
Ginny graduated from Robert Morris College in December of 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting. She graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1982, with a Juris Doctor degree.
Upon graduating from law school, Ginny went to work as an attorney in private practice. She opened her own practice in 1985 and retired from the practice of law in 1999.
Ginny is actively involved in local Florida politics. She joined LCM Strategies in 2008.
